A delegation of representatives of the Government of Moscow from the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations, together with the Chairman of AIKKMP, held an introductory meeting with Trade Representative Alexey Sapetko at the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Korea.
The Trade Representation, which is a state body within the embassy that facilitates the development of trade and economic, investment, and interregional cooperation, was represented by the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation, Alexey Alexandrovich Sapetko.
The activities of the Trade Representation are supervised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The main objectives of the agency are to create an effective mechanism for promoting Russia’s economic interests, diversifying exports, and supporting high-tech sectors of the economy.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation and promising niches for Russian medical device exports. Particular attention was paid to support mechanisms for companies interested in entering the South Korean market. The Trade Representation confirmed its readiness to provide full support to Russian entrepreneurs, including consulting assistance, help in finding reliable partners, and support for exhibition and trade fair activities.
