A round table was held at the venue of the Federal State Autonomous Institution “Institute of Medical Materials” of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, jointly with AICCMP.
At the venue of the Federal State Autonomous Institution “Institute of Medical Materials” of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, a round table was held jointly with the Association of Developers, Manufacturers and Suppliers of Medical Products (AIKKMP) titled: “Challenges of the Shadow Segment of the Medical Device Market: Possible Solutions for Bona Fide Market Participants.”
Participants, including representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, business community, and AIKKMP members, emphasized the social and economic importance of a lawful market.
Based on the presentations and exchange of views, it was decided to continue joint efforts in the following areas:
⚡️ The implementation of additional innovative solutions to protect the Russian market from counterfeit products, including the introduction of “product authenticity support technologies,” aimed at preventing incidents, reducing risks to patients, and minimizing reputational risks for manufacturers.
⚡️ The participants expressed their readiness for active cooperation and the prompt development of initiatives, as well as concrete proposals and measures aimed at combating counterfeit medical devices.
