A session at the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on the interim results of the project “Safe Beauty as a Foundation of Women’s Health and Quality of Life,” implemented within the framework of a partnership agreement between the Social Democratic Union of Women of Russia of the A Just Russia party and the Association of Importers of Cosmetological, Cosmetic, and Medical Products.

During the session, Evgenia Zinovieva, Chair of the Association of Importers of Cosmetological, Cosmetic, and Medical Products (AICCMP), delivered a report on the consumer protection social project “Public Regulation System” — “MedInspector,” which has been implemented on the Telegram and Max platforms. Now everyone will be able to verify the quality and safety of the medical device used, the availability of a clinic’s license, and report suspicious products and offers.

In order to prevent the spread of life-threatening medical devices on the Russian market, and to protect legal distributors from financial losses and reputational risks, the “Product Authenticity Support Technology” is being introduced, the indicator of which is protected by anti-Stokes compounds similar to those used in banknotes. AICCMP member distributors are already implementing this technology and are seeing a positive market response.

This technology has been recognized by the participants of the session as necessary for implementation in medical devices, as a unique and reliable level of protection against counterfeiting and for safeguarding public health.
