1. What was the purpose of developing this technology? - The main purpose of the development was precisely “supporting product originality” as a means of protecting manufacturers and distributors.
2. What is unique about it? Why is it impossible to counterfeit? - The uniqueness of this technology lies precisely in the indicator, which cannot be counterfeited due to protection by anti‑stokes compounds similar to those used to protect banknotes (rubles, dollars). - It is produced by order of AICCMP on the basis of Goznak. - It is applied to the joint of the product packaging, eliminating the possibility of peeling off and opening the packaging undetected. - It is resistant to aggressive environments, acids, alkalis, and high temperatures.
3. How is the authenticity of the indicator verified? Is a special application required, not all of which are currently working? - The indicator has several levels of protection: ⚡️The main method of verification is via the association’s website. A unique alphanumeric code is entered, and the system provides a response: to whom, when, and for which product, along with the expiration date, the indicator was issued. ⚡️The green light protection is checked using an infrared radiation detector in the form of a “marker”. ⚡️The sound protection is checked using a sound detector in the form of a compact “keychain”. No additional applications are required.
4. What about the mandatory “Honest Sign” labeling? - An agreement on partnership has been signed between the AICCMP and the “Honest Sign” CRPT. In the product card, members of the association who have implemented the “Product Authenticity Support Technology” will be able to display this information.
5. Is there any state support for this development? - The “Product Authenticity Support Technology” has been presented at various events in the State Duma, the Federation Council, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, and other platforms, including specialized ones. Over the past year, we have observed an increase in interest in additional protection for medical devices among representatives of government and law enforcement agencies, due to the clear rise in the number of counterfeit medical devices.
